EiQMI has proved successful in productive customer applications. Whether in the receiving department, in the test equipment monitoring, in the test and analysis laboratory close to the production, in the measurement room or in a fully automated production line, EiQMI completely adapts itself to the operational processes.
Since the EiQMI standard software is easily configured to the processes in the testing laboratory or in the testing island close to the production, a number of interesting solutions have emerged with our customers. As a result detailed solutions for characteristic requirements of quality engineering have been achieved, for example for the worker operator control in production, for testing small lots, for manless production in mass production, for application of the "electronic fault collection card", for the initiation of improvement measures, for the administration of tests common to all parts of the works.

In the QZ magazine edition 5/2002 you will find a contribution about "Stress-Free Testing" by Franz Wimmer and Dieter Michelfelder, MANN+HUMMEL, and Dr. Berthold Eilebrecht. The automotive supplier company set the goal to integrate the processes of plant maintenance company-wide, to make them transparent, and to optimize the processes for the management of test and measurement equipment.
In the QZ magazine edition 3/2000 Dr. Wolfgang Hauger, Head of the Quality Management Department at Balluff GmbH and Dr. Berthold Eilebrecht report on the successful introduction of SAP QM in the Balluff company. In the article goods received control and quality costs with SAP R/3 they also explain the benefit of connecting test equipment with EiQMI.
In the internet SAP presents the customer projects Balluff GmbH, Bischof + Klein and MIELE in three success slides where EiQMI is used for the integration of the analysis systems and test equipment. The slides are available under PLM/Quality Management/Media Library/ Success Slides.
