EiQMI convinces BMW
The motor construction sector of BMW AG in Munich has put EiQMI through its paces. The result of the review are two projects in the fields of series production and development parts production. Control 2003
SAP controls measuring instruments - measuring instruments control SAP. This was our motto at the 17th Control Trade Exhibition from May 6 to 9, 2003 in Sinsheim, which we attended as software partner of the SAP Stand and Q-DAS Stand. We showed the complete integration of measuring instruments in the mySAP PLM QM, where SAP and the measuring instruments influence each other. SAP controls measuring instruments: SAP specifies the characteristics and ensures that the measuring instruments do not have to be operated directly anymore. Measuring instruments control SAP: EiPLAN generates test and work schedules in SAP from measurement reports.

EiQMI in the small-lot production at BMW
The production section for development parts at the BMW Group in Munich has introduced EiQMI as a tool for integrating measurement systems for the SAP-supported production. For this reason EiQMI workstations were installed at the processing centres for process-accompanying checks by the machine operator. All of the coordinate measuring machines in the measurement room (different manufacturers) were integrated by EiQMI AutoClients. For the introduction of SAP and EiQMI in the centre for development parts particular attention was given to supporting the special requirements in the small-lot production. |

Big Bang of MANN+HUMMEL
MANN+HUMMEL GMBH introduced the SAP modules CO, MM, PP, QM, SD ... in the production at the Ludwigsburg and Marklkofen works on January 1, 2001. EiQMI was also involved for the connection of the measurement equipment in the goods received control and the test equipment administration. Installation and productive setting of EiQMI was carried out smoothly. Dieter Michelfelder, key user at the Ludwigsburg site values the professional support: "That's my idea of cooperation with suppliers. Our questions were always answered immediately and competently." |

as mySAP.com-Partner
Our company was appointed mySAP.com partner within the certification process of our product EiQMI by SAP on December 13, 2000. EiQMI is now certified for both current versions of QM-IDI interface and offers comprehensive support in both worlds - for the R/3 3.0 and 4.5 releases and for the new interface with the 4.6 release. |

Presentation at the SAP QM Partner Information Days 2000
In his presentation on connection of analysis systems Dr. Berthold Eilebrecht showed 5 different scenarios which describe the use of EiQMI in four customer projects: Balluff GmbH, Bischof + Klein, Bayer AG and Albert Weber GmbH. The scenarios show how flexible EiQMI can be adjusted to the different customer situations. Dr. Eilebrecht explained that it not only surprised the customers but himself as well how easily the complex evaluations and extensive processes can be automated through EiQMI. |

| Dr. Wolfgang Hauger, Head of the Quality Management Department at Balluff, reported at the TQU_Forum Qualität 2000 in Ulm on the successful introduction of SAP QM at Balluff. In his well praised presentation on goods received control and quality costs with SAP R/3 Dr. Hauger also explained the benefit of a measurement equipment connection with EiQMI. Dr. Eilebrecht SSE advised during the introduction of SAP QM in the receiving department at Balluff GmbH. |

EiQMI is SAP Certified
SAP awarded our EiQMI product the certificate for the QM-IDI interface under the 4.5 release on May 23, 2000. As a result EiQMI is the only product in the world which is certified under this release. The new QM-IDI interface release includes the record codes of the previous release and includes as well further record codes which allow transfer of error information from the subsystem to SAP QM via the QM-IDI interface. |

A lot of Interest at the QM/PM SAP Congress
The SAP congress in Leipzig on May 14-15, 2000 was a great success for Dr. Eilebrecht SSE. Our presentation on connection of analysis systems directly to the R/3 went down well with the congress participants. | Dr. Eilebrecht realized test software for the functional testing of the CDL product on behalf of the Robert Bosch South Africa in Brits. Hermann van Niekerk expressed his thanks after the production start-up for the professional handling of the project: "This is just a short confirmation that I and RBSA in general is very happy with the way that SSE handled this project, I hope to involve SSE in future projects." |

User Meeting of Q-DAS GmbH
In a talk Dr. Berthold Eilebrecht presented the new interfaces which allow the products of Q-DAS GmbH (Q-DAS database, qs-stat, procella) to be connected to our EiQMI product. For Q-DAS and EiQMI many possibilities are opened by the interfaces: for data storage, data analysis, process monitoring as well as connecting SAP R/3 with analysis systems in the testing laboratory. |
